Vernissage: “Dialogue of the Ages”

Classical Modernism meets contemporary art, creating an exciting dialogue between past and present. Works from different eras encounter one another, making the evolution of artistic ideas as visible as their common ground: the courage to break new ground and creative freedom.

We cordially invite you to the opening on April 24 at 6:00 PM at the Falkensteiner Schlosshotel in Velden am Wörthersee.

Together, Kunst Kontor Wiesbaden and Galerie Wiedemann present a curated selection of significant positions in Classical Modernism. Highlights include works by the Expressionist Hans Trimborn, artists from the Macke circle, and Christof Drexel, who previously exhibited alongside Edvard Munch. Max Wiedemann takes up these impulses and translates them into an avant-garde visual language. The dialogue with Philippe Daron/Daspremont, a Pop Art artist of the 1970s, promises to be particularly engaging.
