Bernd G. Helber

Studied film and art education, graduating in 1985 from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt, with a master’s thesis on cinematic realism. Worked for 25 years as a consultant, director, and managing director in the field of conception and production of digital media.

Private art collector since 1990, focusing on German art from 1910 to 1980. In 2008, he founded KunstKontor together with Werner Baumstark.
Conceptual and media preparation and publication of art collections, as well as contemporary artists.

Main focus: photography, Expressionism, German post-war art. Another focus of his work is communicating the historical significance of German art (1890 to 1990) for educational programs in school and adult education.
