She was born in Wiesbaden, where she lived and worked until her death. This stay had a lasting influence on her artistic style, especially in the field of informal and gestural abstraction. In the 1980s, she complemented her artistic profile by studying archaeology and art history at the University of Mainz.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"1328\">Ricarda Peters&#8217; work is characterized by a deep exploration of color, surface, and movement. Her paintings are not representations, but autonomous spaces of experience that allow the viewer to see openly and without preconceptions. Numerous study and work stays abroad\u2014including in Rome, Israel, the USA, India, and Russia\u2014have broadened her artistic horizons and are reflected in the complexity of her work.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1330\" data-end=\"1725\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">As a member of the renowned artist group 50 Wiesbaden, she was a fixture in the regional art scene for decades. Her works were shown in numerous exhibitions, including at the Kunsthaus Wiesbaden. Ricarda Peters passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 88.
